Fabio Landini is Post Doctoral Fellow in Innovation and Development at KITeS – Bocconi University, and Research Fellow at MEDAlics.
He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Siena, and both an MSc and a BSc in Development Economics from the University of Parma.
He has been visiting researcher at the Berkman Centre for Internet and Society – Harvard University.
In 2012 he was awarded the “Fabio Gobbo” award for the best PhD paper by the Italian Association for Industrial Economics and Policy.
His main fields of study include: economics of innovation, development economics, institutional economics, behavioural economics, applied econometrics, and evolutionary game theory.
So far he has conducted research on intangible assets and firms heterogeneity, organizational diversity in the software industry, unethical behaviour, entrepreneurship, and rural development in Africa.

He also worked as a consultant for several ministries of the MENA region as well as for many international organizations: ESCWA, UNESCO, World Bank.

Abdelkader DJEFLAT is Professor of Economics at University of Lille (USTL) in France. Previously, he was Full Professor of Economics at the University of Orano in Algeria.
Currently, he teaches Industrial Economics and Economics of Technological Change. At the University of Orano he was the Director of the Faculty of Economics and President of the Inter-faculty Scientific Council. He is the founder and president of the Maghreb Technology Network (MAGHTECH) since 1994.
He has published nearly 80 articles in international reviews on topics such as technological transfer, and innovation and knowledge economy in developing countries, with a specific focus on Maghreb and MENA region. He edited and published several books.
He was also consultant for several ministries of the MENA region as well as for many international organizations: ESCWA, UNESCO, World Bank.

Professor of Industrial Economics, President of CRIOS – Bocconi University, Editor of “Industrial and Corporate Change”, Advisory Editor of “Research Policy”, Associate Editor of the “Journal of Evolutionary Economics”.

After the degree in Economics at Bocconi University, he obtained the PhD in Economics at Yale University.
Currently, he is Full Professor at Bocconi University where he teaches Industrial Economics. He is the director of the undergraduate course in Economics of International Markets and New Technologies (CLEMIT) in Milano. He is the Director of CRIOS (Research Center on Innovation, Organization and Development) at Bocconi University. He is Editor of Industrial and Corporate Change, Advisory Editor of Research Policy, and Associate Editor od Journal of Evolutionary Economics.
He was visiting researcher at Stanford University – Department of Economics and CEPR, University of Queensland and University Louis Pasteur of Strasburg.
He was president of the International Schumpeter Society and of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE). He is member of the Advisory Board at the Max Planck Institute of Economics. He is the Managing Board of the EARIE, and he is the director of the European Summer School of Industrial Dynamics”. He is President-elect of the International Schumpeter Society.

Giuseppe Perta is a Researcher of Economic History of the Mediterranan at “Medalics”, the Research Institute of the “Dante Alighieri” University in Reggio Calabria.

Giuseppe Perta is a Researcher of Economic History of the Mediterranan at “Medalics”, the Research Institute of the “Dante Alighieri” University in Reggio Calabria. He obtained his PhD in 2010 with a thesis on Mediterranean mobility. In 2004, he acquired a Degree in Cultural Heritage (110/110 cum laude), and in 2006 the MA in Fine Arts at the Politecnica University of Valencia (sponsored by UNESCO).
He was also a Fellow in History at the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies – Naples (2005). Since 2005, he was an assistant lecturer of Mediterranean History (Suor Orsola Benincasa” University “in Naples and “Mediterranea” University in Reggio Calabria). He is also responsible for the laboratory of Medieval History at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Suor Orsola Benincasa University in Naples and is a professor of Mediterranean History for the Master’s Courses promoted by Medalics.
He has published several articles (http://medalics.academia.edu/GiuseppePerta) taking part of many conferences, later becoming directly involved with the organization of international meetings. His research interests are: history of trade and travel; contemporary historiography and unitary notion of the Mediterranean History.
